Product Detail

IR Fixed Liquid Tank Features

The IR Fixed Liquid Tank is designed for high-precision liquid sample testing with Fourier Transform Infrared (FTIR) spectrometers. It provides a stable and accurate optical path, available in 0.1 mm, 0.2 mm, 0.3 mm, and 0.5 mm, ensuring reliable measurement results.

  • Broad Compatibility: Compatible with multiple window materials, including potassium bromide, calcium fluoride, zinc selenide, sodium chloride, and potassium chloride.

  • Wide Instrument Adaptation: The tank can be used with FTIR spectrometers from major brands such as Thermo, Bruker, Shimadzu, PE, Tianjin Gangdong, and Rayleigh.

  • Durable and Versatile Design: Its fixed structure ensures stable operation, making it ideal for long-term laboratory use and precise ir sample preparation.

This product belongs to Hench’s professional Liquid sample accessories series, widely used in chemical analysis, pharmaceutical R&D, and environmental testing laboratories.

Operational Approach

For optimal performance, the IR Fixed Liquid Tank should be used in a dry environment, such as a dehumidified room or under an infrared lamp:

  1. Place the liquid tank flat on the work surface and remove the PTFE plug.

  2. Draw the sample using a syringe.

  3. Insert the syringe into the inlet of the sealed tank and inject the sample carefully.

  4. Insert the sealing plug back into the inlet.

  5. After testing, remove the plug and use a syringe needle to blow air repeatedly, draining the liquid tank.

  6. For maintenance, clean with carbon tetrachloride, dry completely, and store in sealed glassware.

  7. Before reuse, if the window’s transparency is poor, gently polish it with deer skin and a small amount of anhydrous ethanol.

Lead sheet thickness options: 0.05 mm (optional), 0.1 mm (optional), 0.25 mm (standard), and 0.5 mm (optional).

Matters Requiring Attention
