Operating Procedure
The steel ring mold is used for molding samples for the X-ray fluorescence spectrometer. The stainless steel ring serves as the support ring for the sample. It features fast pressing speed and good forming effect. The pressing dimensions are: outer diameter 40 mm, inner diameter 32 mm; sample size 32 mm; pressure thickness: 5–8 mm. Special mold sizes can be customized according to customer requirements.
-
Assemble the mold according to the mold operation diagram and pack the sample inside the cavity.
-
Place the mold in the center of the hydraulic press and press the sample to the required pressure.
-
Follow the mold withdrawal process diagram, place the mold in the hydraulic press, and push the sample out of the mold sleeve using the lead screw.
-
Remove the mold from the hydraulic press and gently take out the sample.
