Product Detail

The borax die wraps the sample with borax powder and then presses the powder into shape. It is mainly used for sample preparation and molding in X-ray fluorescence spectrometers. The size of the pressed tablets: outer diameter 40mm, sample size: diameter 32mm; tablet thickness: height 5-8mm. Special mold sizes can be customized according to customer requirements.

Operating Procedure

The boric acid mold covers the sample with boric acid powder and then presses the powder into shape.
It is mainly used for sample preparation and molding of X-ray fluorescence spectrometer samples.
Die size: outer diameter 40mm; sample size: diameter 32mm; sheet thickness: 5–8mm.
Special mold sizes can be customized according to customer requirements.

  1. Assemble the mold according to the mold operation diagram and pack the sample inside the cavity.

  2. Place the mold in the center of the hydraulic press and press to the required pressure of the sample.

  3. Assemble the mold according to the mold withdrawal process diagram, place it in the hydraulic press, and push the sample out of the mold sleeve with the lead screw.

  4. Remove the mold from the hydraulic press and gently remove the sample.
